The air transfer from Salvador
to Morro
de São Paulo is managed by two companies:
Addey and Aerostar.
Both of them work with small airplanes, suitable
for 6 up to 12 passengers and leave from Salvador
International Airport, however
Aerostar works only with twin-engine planes, while
Addey operates with both single and twin-engine
planes (according to availability and there is
no guarantee that the flight will be twin-engine).
Each company lands on a
different airstrip: the Addey air-taxi lands on
the Third Beach. The flight takes about 20 minutes.
The Aerostar air-taxi lands on the Fourth Beach
or Encanto Beach airstrip, and is therfore convenient
for whom will stay on these beaches. The Aerostar
Company provides a transfer service within the
island, from the airstrip to the Second Beach,
close to the Village. The flights take 20 minutes
and the transfer about 15 minutes.
During the high season and holidays, there may
be extra flights to Morro de São Paulo.
