Vila dos Orixás

Any tourist spot has an extra something that makes it even better. At Morro de São Paulo, that detail is the Vila dos Orixás hotel. Unlike any other in the island, both in structure and in location, the hotel is located in the most exclusive beach. Vila dos Orixás is an option for those who really know what they are looking for.

Located at Encanto Beach, the "fifth beach", Vila dos Orixás opened in January 2008. The hotel has only 10 bungalows, distributed across a 10-acre area. As well as being the best-preserved beach in Morro de São Paulo, Encanto is also the quietest: it is mostly deserted, even during the high season. The landscape is framed by the coconut trees, which are integrated into the Rainforest and the mangroves on a fine sand beach sculpted by the tide.

Vila dos Orixás includes a semi-Olympic pool, an excellent restaurant with Fusion, Regional and International cuisine, pool bar, massage room and a beachfront bar/lounge. As well as room service, Vila dos Orixás provides beach service, laundry, baby-sitting and shuttles to the village and to Second Beach.

The bungalows are pure charm: plainly decorated, but cozy, with plenty of wood and warm fabrics. Besides being very spacious, ranging from 65 to 85 square meters, all bungalows have items essential for providing your comfort: jacuzzi, split air conditioning, king-size bed, Egyptian cotton linens, 26" LCD TV, cable, telephone with outside line, mini-fridge and safe protected by password. And, of course, there is that nice hammock on the veranda for an afternoon nap...

Superior bungalows, scattered around the pool, can house three guests. Luxury Bungalows, which feature mezzanines and a beachfront view, can house up to four guests.
