Beaches
The beaches of Morro de Sao Paulo are numbered starting
from the village. The First
is only 300 meters long, the Second
some 400, the Third
800 and finally the Fourth
is around 4 kilometers in length.
Next is "Praia do
Encanto", the Enchantment Beach, the fifth
one.
The sequence of beaches is interrupted by an immense
mangrove, the "Ponta Panã", that separates
beches Encanto and Garapuá,
an almost desert bay, with nothing but a fishermen's
village.
Then comes Pratigi Beach,
the longest and the most desert of the island, with
its 10 kilometers.
Facing the Main Land is the beach of Gamboa,
where you will find the homonymous village, and where
the majority of the island population lives. |
