How to get here
There are three ways to get here:

Arquipélago de Tinharé

By plane
Leaving from the airport at Salvador in a 20-minute flight to Fourth Beach. Timetable

By boat
Catamarans and speedboats leave from Mercado Modelo in Salvador through open sea in a two-hour ride. Timetable

By land
Speedboats leave Valença, the closest point to the mainland.

Valença
To those arriving from Salvador (whether driving or not), the ferryboat is an option. It leaves the sea terminal at São Joaquim towards Bom Despacho (in Itaparica Island) and takes around an hour.
In Bom Despacho you can take a two-hour bus ride to Valença, where you can take a speedboat (half-hour ride) to Morro de São Paulo. There may be some considerable waiting periods between these connections.

To those driving from Valença, Camamú, Salvador or via BR 101, the best deal is to leave the car at Atracadouro de Bom Jardim, near Ponta do Curral. There is a parking lot and speedboats that take 10 minutes to get to Morro de São Paulo.

You may also take a cab from Bom Despacho to Valença, which reduces overall time in 40 minutes, since you can go straight to Atracadouro Bom Jardim and take the same speedboat ride described above.
Check the routes on the map above.
